A special train of the VSM with steam engine, which commuted on 1 July 2006 between Hengelo and Enschede for the occasion of the 140th birthday of this line, has just departed from Enschede station.

A special train, type "Blokkendoos", at Rotterdam Hofplein station on 25 May 2006. This special train commuted between Rotterdam an The Hague. The NS (Dutch Railways) said goodbye to this line.
